In year 2009, Diwali will be celebrated on 17th October.

Somewhere it is also known ad dipawali, divali, deewali etc. It is festival of diyas that’y why it is know as different name of diyas.

Diwali is Hindus great great and most popular festival. It is mainly celebrated in India and other country Hindu also celebrates this festival in their style.  They all will celebrate it on 17th October 2009. It is the Hindu new to the job day and is either a 3-day before 5-day festival depending on somewhere you get here from.

Diwali is a very exciting and colourful festival. Homes are cleaned to refreshing the new to the job day and windows are opened so with the purpose of the Hindu goddess of wealth, Lakshmi, can enter. It is alleged with the purpose of she cannot enter a give shelter to which is not lit up, so all household burns special Diwali earth lamps (diyas) to light the way intended for the goddess, which is why the festival is plus acknowledged in the function of the Festival of light.

To celebrate this festival Children has a mini 20 day vacation from school. Presents are given and delicious holiday food participating in prepared and exchanged. The grand parties are held in big hotel and company and human are participating in that party. Firecrackers and fireworks are set off to warn off wickedness mood, so it is a noisy festival too!
